And #7 is the trickiest
#1. You’re at least 18 years old
#2. You can read, write and speak basic English
#3. You can demonstrate good moral character
#4. You can demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of U.S. history and government
#5. You can demonstrate a loyalty to the principles of the U.S. Constitution
#6. You are willing to take an Oath of Allegiianc
#7. You have continuous residence and physical prescence in the United States
That means you must not have taken a trip outside the US for more than 6 months during the last 5 years
You must have been physically present in the US for at least 2 1/2 years over the last 5 years.
And you must have resided continuously for 3 months in the state where you filed your citizenship application as of the date you filed it.
